Hello again!
As I was writing the last update about getting fully funded and surpassing our first stretch goal, we've passed the second one!
That means we've unlocked Character Builder and Custom Character Sheets!
This was something we wanted to do from the beginning, because standard 5e sheets don’t really fit the tone of this setting. Salem isn’t clean or heroic—it’s tense, messy, and a bit uncomfortable—and we want even the sheets on your table to reflect that.
We’re working on designs that feel more grounded in the period, while still being practical to use during play. It’s a bit of extra work on our end, but it felt like the right thing to include after the support you’ve shown so far.
We’ll share drafts once they’re in a good place.

Hello All,
Well…that was fast!
We genuinely didn’t expect to hit the funding goal this quickly: 7 Minutes! That's the fastest we have ever reached the first milestone. We went into launch day hopeful, but seeing it actually happen in such a short time was a bit surreal for all of us.
Thank you to everyone who backed early. You’re the reason this project is real now and not just something we’ve toiled over behind the scenes for months.
We’ve spent a lot of time digging into the darker, more uncomfortable parts of Salem’s history to make sure this book feels grounded and different from typical 5e supplements. Seeing people connect with that right away means a lot.
We’re already back to work, going through everything with more confidence (and a lot more coffee)!
First Stretch Goal Achieved! The Sounds of Salem
We also just unlocked the soundtrack, and we’re really happy about this one.
For us, music is a big part of the experience. It’s one of those things that quietly carries the tone at the table—especially for something like Salem, where tension and atmosphere matter a lot.
We’re working again with Rabarba Studios, with whom we’ve collaborated on our previous projects. At this point, they understand the kind of tone we’re going for without us having to over-explain it, which makes things a lot easier on our side.

We’ve just started talking through ideas for The Coven of Salem, and it’s already heading in a really nice direction: more restrained, more uneasy, less “epic fantasy,” more…something’s not right.
